Everywhere I went they were playing that song and it made me tired of them, but there is no doubt they are crazy. Cee-lo Green is insane. The video is great in its simplicity. It reminds me of a gumboots line/negro spiritual/old school r&b/michael jackson. The video is quite rich. The colors of the video are nice. I like that it is not overly saturated. Great video.

You know what they say about Great Minds! But seriously this video is great, I just got done reading "What is the What" about the lost boys of Sudan. I'm not up on world geography, so the map in the video didn't help me to know where this was set... Darfur... Certain shots also remind me of the movie "City of God"... but anywho I'm being a little long winded today. Sorry!

I've never really been a FAN of Gnarls Barkley...and his buddy (the guy who plays in silence most of the time) is just a puzzled to me. But he does have "some" cool sounds to his music indeed. 	FranciscoDAnconia \| May 9, 2008 As it happens, the island pictured is Jamaica. Africa does not really have any notable islands, save Madagascar. I would have liked it better if it had been a generic, nonspecific country. After all, the buildings and colors really do fit pretty much any third world world country. A reason that I like the nondescript general idea better is that it is open to more interpretations. I saw someone mentioned Darfur and City of God. So yeah, what I had in mind is that it goes to the heart of any of these areas.
