Albums aren't always about sales. You don't make a CD based on if it will sell or not. You put your own beating heart and soul into an album. I LOVED this album. It said alot about Kanye as a person. If you want to hear the same old shit like the coke deals and the AK-47s then go buy weezy or GTA4... but if you want HEART and SOUL go buy 808s and Heartbreaks.

I watched this yesterday on some other website and found it both hilarious and a little insulting to kanye. first of all, im not gonna lie, that line he said about kanye's album isnt even the voice of kanye because of the auto-tune but thats beyond the point. I thought he was just being funny, but i can understand how it can be taken seriously. I honestly dont think that kanye is really trippin over media coverage whether negative or positive. all he cares is about his emotions and the reactions of his fans. he could care less what colbert thinks. its just pure satire in his mind, and i respect that. kanye, this is my first post and I was a little taken back by the album, but im not gonna say it sucks. its something different that I am not that huge a fan of in comparison to your last three, but i still support you and your ideologies to how you approach music. keep your mind the way it is, listen to the criticism, but use it to create a better you. congratz on goin #1 again.

but you are an artist and you can never be good if you don't change something for a while, so im glad you did this, i can relate to every song they really have grown at first like i said, i couldn't really get with but now..I bump # 1-12 everyday street lights is my favoritem and robocop, and paranoid, and W 2 heartbreak, and amazing, and still isten to graduation, late registration, and college dropout through every track.

i think colbert is hilarious. i was a little irritated when i first saw this segment but i dont think he meant to diss kanye, it was funny though as most of his show is.
as far as the album goes, im not gonna lie, it would have been nice to hear a little more rapping although he did a little bit. but overall i think it is a great album. i bought it as soon as i got the chance. it's very unique and it amazes me how kanye can make great music so effortlessly; i remember when he first posted the love lockdown performance from the vmas he said he wrote it "a couple weeks ago." i was like "damn he just wrote that and he's already performing it!" it was an awesome performance too...
