Two original Zig Zag Chairs made from painted wood and brass hardware were sold at Auction at Sotheby’s. The chair unadorned and the cantilever concept broke new ground in furniture design. They were designed by Gerrit Rietveld and manufactured by Gerard van de Groenekan, De Bilt, in the Netherlands, and then Cassina Italy from 1971.

Happy New Year Kanye! I'm gonna take a moment to just say that I've always been a fan of your work and in this passed year I have truly grown to be a fan of your character. You are truly a one of a kind person, the confidence you have in yourself has made me look at myself and not be afraid to be me. I want to thank you for the music you have given me and your other fans but most of all I'd just like to thank you for being you because that has helped me on a whole nother level that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

now next time you're in holland you should visit 'het gerrit rietveld huis' (in english: the Gerrit Rietveld House). He designed the house, and everything in it. it looks very cool! it's in Utrecht, near amsterdam.

This is ridiculous, it looks way too narrow to be comfortable and I don't really like the design, plus it's crazily overpriced.
