As I was saying in my earlier post - though, I haven't lived in Chicago (South Side stand up)for over ten years, I really miss my great city!
Shopping at the Water Tower, Oak Street,and taking the L train to 63rd & Halsted to get the 'best' discounts on the new 'Jordans'! Rocking my Chicago Bulls Starter jacket and in winter time, my 'Pea Coat and a fresh pair of Timberland boots!
I miss the step shows at Chicago State,Leon's BBQ, Eli's cheesecake, the beautiful woman of Kenwood Academy and Jones Commercial high school, going to 'Taste of Chicago' every summer in Grant Park, Super Sundays at Marshall Field's, witnessing the election of Harold Washington as the first black mayor of Chicago, graduation nights at 'Great America', seeing artists like Anita Baker and R. Kelly 'rock' the Arie Crown Theatre, attending the Black P Stone annual picnic each year, and fantasizing about what new car I'm going to get after leaving the auto show in the C
