Waiting in public spaces could certainly be more pleasurable, thinks Teun Fleskens, and with that goal in mind he designed the CHITCHAT. A piece of seating furniture for up to seven people that literally rocks. Whoever sits on it makes the piece of furniture and those who are already sitting on it move, which almost always stimulates social interaction between them. It is both surprising and amusing, and you start chatting about it with your neighbour. Strangers work together to find the best balance. The ice is broken, the atmosphere has improved, and waiting has quickly become much less boring. The ‘rocking trees’ in the center ensure a playful effect, especially when there are several CHITCHATS in a single space.

Ironic.. I really dig the third table. It resembles my best friends black marble dinner table.. It was so fly.. I always admired the table and it had black leather chairs.. After my first college graduation, and moving back home from the boonies.. a college town near Jackson, MS, I saw her standing in line outside the club.. We kicked it from that nite until she departed. ThAT same night she came back to my first apartment.. and crashed until one of her guys came to pick her up. We admired each other style and both had fly apartments and whips. I drove an Ac.. While I was gone to school she was getting it in. She was married to a baller from the Chi.. He turned her on to real jewelry and she turned me on to not wearing costume. She drove this new white Lac on dubs with the sounds.. talk about a head turner.. it was hers.. he drove a maroon one. She was my only home girl who was a true hip hop fan.. Loved Jeesy and was always telling me what was hot to buy.

I said that to say.. I was describing the table to my mom and two days later.. I found one simular. I just so happen.. to walk in the day after they marked it down 50%. I was so shocked by the price.. I thought the chairs were gonna be sold individually.. I really needed a dinning room set. I had this glass and silver breakfast set that seated two.. but only one chair worked.. my fat friend sat in it and broke it as if I did not know.. So.. I really needed one. I found one for a grand and my mom said it was pretty but not durable.. so I took her advice and kept sitting at the one seater.. Yeah.. So mine it is black mocha wood and it is real big and round with high black leather and wood chairs. It is so nice. My dinning room is a sun room with a huge glass sliding doors that looks out to my big back yard. I love to sit in their and let the sun warm my body and heart. My extra room is now a dance and work out room.. God is good 2 me..
