It's also LOUIS VUITTON! #2 The Nike Air Yeezy- The SRP of 215 is a good price. If, you saw the quality of the Yeezys you would agree. If, the demand made the price go up due to the supply. That's basic economics! What did you expect. Infact, the limited availability increases it's value. #3-Nike not supporting Hip-Hop is a ridiculous statement. Nike's global affect is due to corporate globalization. You might say enslavement but those Africans and Asians you speak of are able to feed their families. However, that has nothing to do with Kanye. If, you are sore that you weren't able to get a pair of the sneakers, get over it. I know of a lot of Kanye fans that saved up to be able to purchase the LVs and/or the Yeezys. Don't try to hold Kanye down because of your financial situation. Finally, no one likes a hater.

I cried and cried finally my mother bought them, the price is unimportant. I attended Whitney Young HS. The income levels were mixed. I placed those shoes in my locker during PE. Needless to say someone had stole them. My crew tracked down the crook who lived in an area in daley's city that I had no idea about not far from our school. My friend pointed out an old lady wearing my croc loafers I had to have. I looked at the old lady and I said, "You're wearing my shoes." She said, "Naw baby these are shoes my granddaughter bought me from the goodwill." The moral of the story: Don't cry over a pair of shoes someone may steal them for their grandmother.

Seriously consider my conclusions on this shoe and reconsider your statements. 1. are the shoes over priced? yes. 2.Now $215 is not entirely unreasonable, however paying 1k cause you cant find them anywhere else but ebay is. When you automatically assume Nike supports Hip Hop you are revealing a lack of true faith in your community and yourself. The average worker in Indonesia produces 4.3 pairs of shoes a day and only gets the minimum wage of $2.50 a day whereas the daily livable wage in Indonesia is between $4.00 to 4.50. So you tell me about families being fed.

I'll agree with you that what Nike pays in other countries is questionable but that has nothing to do with their support of hip-hop and most importantly that has nothing to do with Kanye. Now, 1k is a lot I payed 500 which is the average price of Yeezys on ebay. Look, I just feel that you are placing too much criticism on Kanye. You can not hold him responsible for things that he has no control of. This was the first release of his shoes. Have some patience and maybe in the future some Yeezys will be readily available like some Jordans. Also, take note that there are some Jordans that sell for several thousand dollars.
